Interior design establishes the layout, appearance and coordinated decisions for the space.

Implementation

Renovation concerns the agreed work needed at the property. The two should be planned together, while design fees, construction costs, materials and furniture remain separate parts of the budget.

Finishes, lighting and furnishing

An interior update may involve surfaces, lighting, storage and furniture. These decisions work together: the placement of furniture affects how rooms are used, while finishes and lighting shape the atmosphere. The work and supply schedule is defined after the brief and available information have been reviewed.

Renovation cost and timing

The budget depends on the villa’s size and existing condition, the rooms involved, the design scope, finishes and furnishing requirements. Villa renovation questions

Can the project cover selected rooms?: The scope is discussed around your brief. The rooms and design decisions included in the project need to be identified in relation to the rest of the interior.
Is furniture included in the renovation budget?: Design, construction, materials and furniture should be identified separately. The furnishing scope and supply arrangements are agreed for the project.
Will approvals be required?: This depends on the property and proposed changes. Applicable requirements need to be established before the relevant work begins.
What should I prepare for an initial enquiry?: A floor plan, the property area, recent photographs and a short list of the changes you want to make. If you already have an interior design, include it in the discussion.
